Lectures
All Lectures Compleate at Task 1

Instructions

Task 3 : Type Exploration
For Task 3, we get to dictate our own project. We are to either design a typeface to solve a problem in the area of our interest (Graphic Design, UI/UX, Animation, Entertainment Design or any other) or explore the use of typeface in our area of interest. The end outcome would be the designed typeface in its application - any kind of format related to the issue being solved or explored: animation, 3D, print, ambient, projection, movie title or game title, use of different material.

Week 11
-

Week 10
General Feedback : Make sure to pick at the area that you interest.
Specifik Feedback : The first font ot looks like japanese letter but both of them are fine and you should pick one.

Reflection
In this project i observe that i need to be more specifik when exploring the type of font to match the area of my interest which is entertaiment design (Tron Movie Title), and i found that exploring and aplication is not easy i need to search the suitable image from internet for my fonts so it will looks nice and suitable but overall its fun to do and i enjoy it.

Re-forming
Tearing typefaces from their original contexts and recycling them is also a technique used in ransom notes and collage, but re-formation is more about pushing the limits artistically through distorting, decaying and distressing.

Extreme
The awesome detailing is to be admired but not necessarily mimicked. To use this as a model demands the designer understand Cantrell’s stunning balance of elements. A good typographer must avoid the understandably insatiable urge to be a typographic gourmand. Extreme typographic display is tasty, but it is also easy to consume more ornament than the eye can truly digest. Appreciate Cantrell’s facility in making a complex typographic image, but be wary about introducing it where it is not welcome.
