 Instructions

Task

For Task 2A we are to design a key artwork, which behaves as a logo and artwork. We are to use our name/initials. This key artwork will subsequently be used in Task 2B on various collateral.

First i do sketch in Ai
Fig 1.1 Sketch(9/05/2022)

Here i try to make the logo for the key art work but the word its not really readable and the word that i pick is so random and i must use my call name or short name.
Fig 1.2 Sketch(19/05/2022)
here i try to do another sketch and i pick the top left one to my my logo for my poster.

Fig 1.3 Key Artwork(19/05/2022)
This is my final Key Artwork, for this key artwork for me i saw it like a mask and mask is like mystery people inside it, and i want to make it like Mystery consep and unknow.

Occupation : Mystery / Mask

Task 2B: Collateral

We are tasked to design the following with our key artwork in Task 2A:
- Poster (A2)
- Animated invite (square, 800/1024 px)
- 3 relevant collaterals (minimum 2 collaterals)

For the poster

Here i try to make couple of sketch for my poster and i like the second one because its more organize and simple.

2. Animated Invite
For the Animated Invite i use frame per frame animation from Adobe After Effect, but before i import to from Ai and i seperate all the layer that i want to animate.

Before i make Final animation invite i try to animate the logo first
Fig 1.7 Logo Animate Test(21/05/2022)

I quiet like for the animation for the logo and next for the final animation invite

Fig 1.8 FInal Animation Invite(21/05/2022)

From the logo animation test i made some changes to the speed and a little bit of the movement.

3. Collaterals
For the collaterals i choose to make ticket.

Feedback
Week 9 General Feedback: When making poster need to reintroduce the artwork as a logo. Specifik Feedback: Cant really read the Artwork and the Poster is not working. Week 6 General Feedback: Specifik Feedback: Its interesting but need the letter need to be more visible and not using random word in your name, use initial name or short name.

Reflection
Task 2A : In this task i really strunggle to to find the suitable design for my logo using my initial name and i ended up with that design and i think its pretty cool i see it like a face and the initial "S E L" for me i can clearly see it. At this task i learn its really hard to make logo from a name and letter and i learn it needs more pratice to be good at it.

Task 2B : For task 2B i learn a new think to make my design into tickets collateral from the mockup i choose from the internet and its really interesting and the animated part is really fun to do and overall i enjoy it when making the collateral and the animation.

Fig. 2.2 Capital and lowercase letters

Capital letters
  • Straight horizontal alignment, creating an even word outline with letters of similar shape and size. A reader is not provided with the necessary visual cues that make words recognisable.
  • A reader can become confused if a word takes on an appearance that differs from the originally learned word shape.

Lowercase letters
Words that are distinct, based upon their irregular word shape and internal pattern. A variety of letter shapes, ascenders, and descenders visual cues.
